Eweek.com wrote about the changes with the Google Places iPhone app recently and its worth the two minutes it’ll take you to read it for yourself.

According to the article “Google just acquired Zagat to beef up restaurant reviews for Places, which pairs local business information, such as address, telephone numbers, hours of operation and reviews with the concern’s location on Google Maps.”

If your business is not found on Google Places, or the information they share about your business with searchers is incomplete or missing, chances are you are missing too. Missing out on new customers that you otherwise could have.
